Anita Tullio (1935-2014) was born in Paris into an Italian family, she had spent her young years near Meaulne, “living like a wild girl. She was a “shepherdess”, loved the feeling of the sun on her back, living in nature”. She meets Robert Heldman, her pygmalion, who introduces her to ceramics. This is the start of an incredible career. Anita Tullio works the earth, exploits cooking accidents, converses with fire. She thus gives birth to her spheres which make her famous.
