Description
The structure of this seat is typically inspired by the Iberian 16th century.
The butt armrests rest on the four solid uprights of square section. The two front legs are connected by a high, cut-out, molded and perforated crosspiece.
It should be noted that this armchair has an exceptional upholstery dating from the 16th century. The green velvet upholstery and embroidery set with silver thread on a red silk velvet offering itself in the center of the backrest, is a marvelous example of Iberian excellence in this precious art. It is applied to the frame of the armchair by a very decorative traditional nailing.
