Description
Rosa Eliou was born in Athens, in 1930. Between 1950 and 1954, she studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts with Professor Michalis Tombros. After her studies, she worked in Kamakura, Japan in the famous R.Yamaguchi and T.Hirano workshops where she specialized in ceramics, melanography, Sumi-E and Origami paper art. Her first solo exhibition took place in Athens in 1964 and since then dozens of others have followed, as well as participation in group exhibitions in Greece, Cyprus, America, France.
